Examination of Asik Davut Sulari Turkish Folk Songs in the Context of Values Education

This research aims to determine the value themes in examples of Turkish Folk Music registered TRT repertoire and whose source person is Aşık Davut Sulari raise awareness context use our within scope values education given Music, Literature courses.

As result, 19 different investigated made. result analysis, that found be processed most (in 17 songs) “love” value, least (1 song each) “mercy”, “compassion”, “modesty”, “forgiveness” “austerity”. lyrics (7 values) as “Vardım Kırklar Kapısına” with (2 “Bir Yiğit Gurbete Düşse”, “Durnam Gelir Bizim Elden”, “Ey Hamamcı Bu Hamamı”, “Şepke’nin Kavakları”, “Yaban Gülü müsün Sarp Kayalarda” “Yaz Ayları Geldi Geçti”. Another finding obtained “respect,” “sobriety” “generosity” are not any
